the strip - drag racing game

The Strip is a focused drag racing game where a whole race can be decided in a few intense seconds. There are no long circuits to learn and no corners to cut: you line up beside a rival, watch the start lights, and fight for every fraction of a second over the quarter mile.

Gameplay is all about preparation and timing. Before a race, you choose and improve a car, then fine-tune the parts that shape how it leaves the line and pulls through each gear. Gearing, tyres, boost, suspension, and engine settings can all change how a run feels, so a small adjustment can turn a close loss into a win. On the strip itself, a clean launch and well-timed shifts matter just as much as raw power.

Progression gives you plenty to work toward. The game offers more than 300 cars across six tiers, from rough, affordable starters to fast exotics and industrial machines. You can work through a story path against the people who control the strip, rescue and restore wrecks in the lockup, and keep an eye on the practical side of racing too, including fuel, weight, wear, oil, and damage. Racing a damaged car is a gamble, so looking after your garage is part of winning.

There is also a strong competitive side. Ranked ladders, head-to-head races, ghost races, call-outs, tournaments, and car meets give you different ways to test a setup against other players. If a run goes especially well, you can export it as a video with sound and share it without recording your screen separately.

Why play it? The Strip is ideal if you enjoy short, high-pressure races, hands-on car tuning, and steady progression from a humble first car to a serious quarter-mile machine. It is free to play on Android, with optional in-app purchases, and is also available through Google Play Games on PC.
