Maniac's Playground.Drift City

Maniac's Playground.Drift City is a free, GTA 1/2-style top-down open-world action game set in Drift City. Seen from above, you drive, shoot and survive in a chaotic sandbox city: take on gang missions, race and drift through the streets, outrun rivals and pursuers, and start fresh roguelike runs where each playthrough feels different. You can build your standing as a gang leader, fight enemy gangs in top-down shooter missions, and switch between car racing and on-foot action.

This is a very different kind of game from superhero fighting games such as DCKO, from rocket games, and from PvP mob-battle games. Its focus is old-school top-down driving, shooting and gang-city mayhem, not superheroes, rockets or arena mob battles.
