About King Blast
King Blast is a bright, fast-paced castle puzzle in which every move is about clearing a path for a king who is trying to escape. You tap groups of same-colored cubes to pop them, chain larger groups into boosters, and smash through crates, chains, and other obstacles that stand between the king and freedom. Each cleared board opens the next part of his journey, with coins and treasure to collect and new boosters to unlock along the way.
The gameplay is deliberately simple to pick up: one tap does the blasting, but the planning is what makes it satisfying. You look for the biggest color groups, save your boosters for the toughest blockages, and set off chain reactions that clear whole sections of the board at once. The levels grow steadily harder, so a careless tap can waste a good setup while a well-timed combo can turn a crowded board into an open road.
What sets King Blast apart from other recent puzzle posts is its castle-escape goal. Ring Master is built around rotating rings, Tricky Lab is built around its own twist on puzzle logic, and Wild Shapes is a jigsaw-style shape game. King Blast is none of those: it is a match-and-blast game where matching cubes directly builds and clears the king's escape route through a castle, level after level.
Note for players: this is a large download at about 264 MB, so it is best installed over Wi-Fi and with enough free space on your device. It is free to play with optional in-app purchases, and it is rated 4.4 stars on Google Play with 50K+ downloads.
How to play King Blast
Tap a group of same-colored cubes to blast it away, match four or more cubes to create boosters, and clear crates and chains so the king can move forward. Collect coins and treasure as you go to unlock more boosters.
Why it is worth trying
It is easy to learn in a minute, but later levels reward careful planning. The castle-escape theme gives every board a clear purpose beyond simply scoring points, and the bright, satisfying blast effects keep short sessions fun.
